Helping kids reach their academic & life potential through sports

Our Mission

Helping kids reach their academic & life potential through sports.

Ayudar a los niños a alcanzar su potencial académico y vital a través del deporte.

Sports is one of the most powerful tools we have. It builds character, fosters belonging, and teaches young people the skills they need to succeed — in school, in their communities, and in life. PlaySmart harnesses that power for kids who need it most. All campers attend free of charge, supported entirely by donations and volunteers.

Five Pillars.
One Foundation.

Every day at camp, lessons are woven around the five pillars that anchor PlaySmart, connecting what happens on the field to who campers become off it.

Respect

Self-worth and empathy for others

Hard work

Perseverance to reach new goals

Honesty

Making the right call, every time

Sportsmanship

Play fair, win and lose with grace

Teamwork

Achieving more together as a team

Speaker Series

Each day campers hear from athletes and sports professionals who share how lessons
from the field shaped their lives beyond it.
