| SAINTS FOOTBALL MINI-CAMP In April 2004 PlaySmart conducted a free one-day clinic for 60 kids at the New Orleans Saints state of the art indoor practice facility. Pro Bowler Michael Lewis and former NFL QB Danny Wuerffel along with Saints Coaches and Staff ran the campers through eight football skill stations. The kids learned to Block, Tackle, Pass, Run, Kick and Catch like the pros. The main goal of the camp was for the kids to have fun learning football fundamentals, but the coaches also stressed effort, teamwork and academics as being the keys to long term success. |
