| Jim Haslett Celebrity Dinner - 2nd Annual Jim Haslett, the head coach of the New Orleans Saints, once again headlined our biggest annual fundraiser! Attendance and proceeds increased from 2002, as we had 250 people in attendance at the Ritz-Carlton in New Orleans. PlaySmart raised (net) $30,000 during the evening. Coach Haslett, his wife, Beth, and the entire New Orleans Saints organization have continued to believe in and support our cause. For their support and commitment, we thank them – we couldn’t do what we do without their support. The night included an incredible meal, live music by renowned New Orleans jazz musician Jeremy Davenport, a silent auction with over 75 items, and many celebrities. A fun time was had by all. We’re already beginning to plan the 3rd Annual event for next Spring (2004) – stay tuned as it promises to be bigger and better than ever! |
